Detective Pam St. John

Detective Pam St. John has led the Seattle Police Department response for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for many years. This past year she organized all the logistics, including outfitting bike officers in pink police shirts, recruiting volunteers, scheduling officer transport vehicles, working closely with the Susan G. Komen local office on route details and communications plans, and handled all the additional details that go into planning a large event that spans three days and four cities. Detective St. John does all of this on her own time.

During the event, officers were out on the route for safety as ambassadors for SPD. They also provided
encouragement to those walking. Many positive connections were made with participants and the community. Inspiring stories of healing were shared among officers and walkers. Pam has already begun planning for the 2018 Komen 3-Day Walk. Detective Pam St. John has truly dedicated herself to this cause and is being recognized for her heartfelt work.
