Cherie Skager

Cherie Skager has more than 20 years of experience managing health and safety programs in Washington State. She has held leadership positions at The Hope Heart Institute, The Puget Sound Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and The YWCA of Seattle-King County-Snohomish County. Cherie brings an expertise of building collaboration across sectors to improve the well-being of the community, with a priority focus of reaching underserved populations and implementing upstream solutions to issues that disproportionately affect our community.

Cherie has a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Master's degree in Health Education from the University of Nebraska, and a Master's degree in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University. She has proven success in identifying and addressing community need, launching programs and taking them to scale, and raising the visibility of issues that impact the lives of those living in the Seattle area.

Cherie is thrilled to work at the Seattle Police Foundation, supporting the Seattle Police Department and the dedicated women and men working there, in creating a safer - and healthier - Seattle for all.

Jennifer Kelly

Jennifer Kelly joined the Seattle Police Foundation in March 2017 as the Marketing and Events Coordinator.  She previously worked for USO Northwest as the Events Manager.  

Jennifer brings a unique perspective to the team as the wife and sister of Police Officers.  With family and friends who are SPD Officers, the SPF mission is always close to her heart.

Jennifer is originally from Seattle and graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications.  


Justin Braeutigam

Justin Braeutigam joined the Seattle Police Foundation in June 2016 as the Development Coordinator. He previously worked at The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International as the Sr. Planned Giving Specialist, and at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL as a Planned Giving Program Assistant. 

Justin is originally from the Chicago area and relocated to Seattle in 2016.  He has a Bachelor’s Degree in American Studies from Williams College in Massachusetts, and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University.


Dan dueball

​Dan Dueball joined the Seattle Police Department as a civilian employee working with the Fingerprint Team in 1997. In 2003, he was promoted to Administrative Staff Assistant and during the last 10 years has served in this capacity for several assistant chiefs and the president and CEO of the Seattle Police Foundation. Dan provides administrative support and logistical support for events and programs.

Dan is originally from San Diego, California, and graduated from Kinman Business University in Spokane, Washington.

Diane Pilon began her career at Seattle Police Department in 1999, in the Research and Grants Unit.  In 2007, she was assigned to work with the Seattle Police Foundation as the Police Department Liaison.

Her position serves as department lead for communication with SPF, which includes working with SPD Command Staff to identify priority programs and key projects for potential SPF funding, managing the internal grants process for SPD, managing community outreach events, and providing administrative and budget oversight for SPF funded projects and programs. Diane has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Washington, majoring in Communications.
