URBAN ADVENTURE

LEARNING and FUNDRAISING:
THE URBAN ADVENTURE PROGRAM

The Seattle Police Foundation Urban Adventure provides a unique, interactive opportunity for individuals wanting to support the Foundation's mission while learning more about law enforcement. This annual fundraising event includes three component options:

  • Field Events: The field events are the cornerstone of the Urban Adventure. Participants will get to learn CSI investigation techniques, lethal and less-lethal weapons training, action decision-making in a scenario based simulator and several demonstrations in which you participate.

  • Driving: SPD driving instructors will provide aspects of skills training provided to SPD officers including brake and evade, backing and parking, high speed lane changes, sirens, lights and radio drills followed by scenario-based tactical exercises.

  • Surf-n-Turf: Specialty Unit officers will provide exposure and interactive exercises with the harbor, K-9, and mounted units. This will be offered the same day as the other options and all participants will end the day at the joint dinner.

If you have ever wondered what it might be like to be a police officer, the SPF Urban Adventure is a perfect event for you! Please contact SPF for more information.
