Christopher Ellis

Christopher Ellis has served as Corporate Security Manager for Amazon since January of 2018.  Prior to Amazon, he was the Director of Safety and Security for the Seattle Mariners from 2015-17. In his capacity, Christopher oversaw all security operations for Safeco Field and the Seattle Mariners Baseball Club, including all law enforcement inside the ballpark and Seattle Police Department traffic operations on the exterior.

Previously, he was Security Supervisor for MLB in Security and Facilities Management, coordinating security and operations for multiple All-Star games, World Series games and the World Baseball Classic. Christopher served as a Senior Advance Representative for the Executive Office of the President during the George W. Bush administration. In that role he was responsible for planning and managing logistics and technical support for international and domestic events involving the President and First Lady. He also worked for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in Washington, D.C., where he was a Trip Director for Secretary Michael Chertoff, working closely with senior staff members, government agencies, U.S. embassies and foreign governments.

Christopher is a graduate of the University of Denver where he was a goalie on the University's Division I hockey program. Christopher and his wife, Rachel, met while working for the White House and their daughter, Charlotte, was born in November 2016.
